''Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'' (stylized as ''Pride + Prejudice + Zombies'') is an upcoming British–American romantic action comedy horror film written for the screen and directed by Burr Steers, based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith, itself based on the 1813 novel ''Pride and Prejudice'' by Jane Austen. The film stars Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Charles Dance and Lena Headey. It will be released on February 5, 2016 in the United States〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Box Office Mojo )〕 and on February 12 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
==Plot==
''Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'' is a fresh twist on Jane Austen’s widely celebrated novel. A mysterious plague has fallen upon 19th century England, the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry. Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.
